Trapped

Hello everyone,

For those of you who follow my facebook as well or the ones I spoke to at skype, you'll already know it. But for the other: I'm still in Perth! :P

Apparently the hostel is cursed (everyone gets injured) and so is Perth (you can check in, but you can't check out). :P
After one week here, we decided to stay a bit longer, till after the weekend. And after postphoning our departure date another couple of times, we finally left north last wednesday. We had a nice little lunch in a little town and went for sand boarding as well. However, after 10 minutes John decides to embrace the earth while sliding down and was in great pain when the earth wasn't hugging him back. :P So, to a doctor and after to a hospital. Nearest one was Perth (about 100k's). So we checked in in Mad Cat again. :P Turned out that he broke his shoulder and had to stay a week.

In the mean time I got a job offer and had an interview on tuesday and a group interview/test today. Didn't know it of myself, but I'm really good in approaching people on the street! Did twice as much as the others. And also the questions and interview went well. So I start monday at 9AM with my training as fundraiser. Means either to get people to sign a petition for Amnesty International, or to donate to Make A Wish foundation. Also means I will be staying at least some more weeks in Perth. Ow yeah, am also working in the hostel, cleaning in the morning. But probably stop with that next week, isn't the best pay...

For the rest, Perth is mainly beach and chilling in the park during the day and going out in the evening. And sometimes pool, darts, poker or chess. :)
