Hi Guys,
It's already end of januari and I'm officially a month behind on scedule. :P Wanted to sell my car beginning of jan in Sydney, but seems I won't even make beginning of feb. :P
Anyway, after my adventure in Mackay, I continued heading South:
* Rainbow Beach/Fraser Island: first I was in Hervey Bay, but there was no tours for about 3/4 days and I didn't want to wait, so I continued to Rainbow Beach. Here I was supposed to pick up my ride anyway. But also in rainbow, there was no tour before monday. So in the end I booked a day tour for sunday, hoping to save some time (and money). Saturday I met some nice people and we had a nice day and evening. Next morning, around 4, I got sick and I've been sick for most of the day and the next 2. Meaning, I missed my tour on sunday. :S Luckily they could change it to monday without extra charge. :) Wasn't so good tho..was still a bit sick and it was mainly a tour for elderly peeps and families. So realy regretted not going on t 3 day camping one, especially while it was monday already and the others all went on it. :S Anyway, in the evening I met Simone and we took of the next day.
* Roadtrip/Spring Brook Gorge: First thing we did was drive down and we went for a walk in the afternoon somewhere north of Bris. Was quite nice, but steep clime. I also crossed Bris, where we slept in a park that night. Next day was Australia day, so very busy and no parking spots in town. So we drove around for like an hour and then gave up and continued. Also Springbrook Gorge was packed with tourists, but we had a nice couple of hours hiking, a swim and a nice lunch and game of chess in a beautifull, peacefull, green forest cafe! :D In the evening we drove on to Surfers. Here Simone left me again because of a change of plan.
* Surfers Paradise: this is where I'm now and have been last couple of days. Went surfing as well yesterday, but busted my surfboard. :S And also, some party here. Today Amanda arrives. Met her in Rainbow and she text me if she could jump in just after I booked in the hostel. So today of to..??? Sydney? Byron? Nimbin? We'll see. :P
So, that's what I've been up to lately. Now it's just a question of getting back to Sydney and sell my car for mucho dinero. :D

Succes met de verdere trip. Zorg er maar voor dat je de auto goed kunt verkopen. En wat de rest van je plannen betreft, we horen het wel. Feit is dat je het laatste deel van je trip nog 'ff' lekker kunt 'chillen'.

Hows life? Klinkt goed allemaal, alleen balen dat je ziek was! :( of had je gewoon teveel gezopen? :P Maar als je je auto in Sydney verkoopt ga je dan gewoon met bussen verder of kom je dan weer terug naar NL? of is je thuiskom data nog steeds onbekend?! ;)
Ik had trouwens laatst met Diego afgesproken want hij was in NL! super grappig om m hier te zien! Nu is ie alweer in colombia, maar je krijgt de gr!

Als je nog op tijd terug bent kun je misschien mijn afstudeerfeestje meepakken! Je hebt t iig goed naar je zin als ik zo lees. Ik heb er zin in weer een keertje met je af te spreken als je weer in NL bent. Hopen dat je die auto nog kunt verkopen voor n mooi prijsje. Veel plezier -

jahhh we volgen je toch wel hoor.. hier alles goed.. ik ben bezig met een studie he,, medewerker maatschappelijke zorg en Ben werkt nog steeds bij Holbox.. en noahtje word al groot! inmiddels is ie al 2,5 jaar oud en praat hele verhalen.. echt n meneertje... :) bohh zit me wel ns te bedenken van.. zou ik echt niet kunnen.. steeds weer op n andere plek en elke keer weer nieuwe mensen leren kennen.. vind het knap hoor.. en in een vreemd land.. petje af! we zien je hopelijk weer als je terug bent.. en wie weet is er dan wel n tweede op komtst want we willen na noahs verjaardag( na aug.) voor een broertje of zusje gaan voor noah.. dus wie weet.. geen idee wanneer je weer in NL bent,,, maar we denken aan je en nog heeeel veel plezier!
