Hey Peeps!
Long time no read. That's correct, because I haven't writing anything for some time now. Mainly because I didn't have any Internet. But now an update:
Starting with good news: I finally have my car!!His name is Mitch and I already installed some teddy's: Werner (the Koala), Moongaia(the Platypus) and Kangaroo. Oh, and it's not Sionna's car. That one have 2500 on repairs and that would take 10 days. So I decided to buy a more expensive one ($5000) :P Having a car i decided to leave Sydney asap and head for Melbourne. Here I am now, celibrating my B-day with some wine and I made pan cakes. Furthermore I bought myself 2 presents: Iron Man 2 (cinema) and Lasagna (as lunch). Rest of the day I spent walking around town and I bought an SIMcart USBstick wireless modem. So now I have Internet for a year! :D Did take me about 2 hours before it worked..and since dinner I've been reading mail, facebook, uploading a video (check http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mCLcfK-deo) and skyping. So, everyone: thnx for the felicitations de mon anniversaire! Makes it a bit more lively to know that you are celebrating with me overseas! :) Anyway, enough of that, here what I've been doing:
- Blue Mountains
So, I left Sydney on the 4th, in the company of Elisa and Robert, the German couple that sold me the car. Robert was so kind to drive us out of Sydney (I was still terrified, driving on the left...). And we slept in the car the first night, just in the chairs, parked somewhere in a suburb. :P Next day we continued to Wentworth Falls, where we did a nice (unexpected) 4hrs walk with beaufitull waterfalls. Next day we visited the Three Sisters (Katoomba), which are not really that interesting...and Blackheath for some walking. On the last day in the Blue Mountains, we did some ofroad driving to a lake south of Katoomba. After that I dropped the Germans on the train and drove on direction ACT. And I spent my first night in the car, sleeping somewhere on a rest area next to the highway outside Canberra.

The 8th of may I got up early and drove into Canberra, where I spent the day. Visited the War Memorial, city center, Science Museum and the Parliament. And one day Canberra was enough, wasn't really interesting. So in the evening I drove on (and luckely no kangaroo jumped in front of my car :D).
- Cooma & the Snowy Mountains
Cooma was the first place I spent the night surrounded by forrest, and woke up the next morning with misty surroundings. :D And from here I've been cruising in the Snowy Mountains. Although no snow, I liked them (and the driving)!
- Lakes Entrance
From the SM I reached the shore the 9th, on Lakes Entrance in Gippsland. So that's where I've been untill I came to Melbourne(Gippsland I mean). Lakes Entrance was a beach resort like town, so I quickly move on to Golden (and Paradise) Beach. Here I was the only one except for some 'meeuwen' that sat around me. :P From Golden Beach I drove on to Wilson's Promontory, a national Park South of Melbourne(peninsula). Here I camped and saw ao kangaroo and wombats. And I almost hit a really big bird with the car since he suddenly flew up. But magnificent to see! Unfortunately it rained the next morning, so I decided to go on to Melbourne in stead of staying another night. Didn't reach Melbourne in the end and camped 80k's east of the city in the middle of nowhere.
- Melbourne
So, now in M-born. Yesterday I had a drink with Jack and a friend of his. Today we unfortunately had to write an essay, so he had no time. So I wandered around town at the fruit market and shopping mall. And now I'm at my room, almost ready to go to bed.
So, as you can see, I've done quite a lot. But I would really enjoy it more if I could share the things I do with someone. Not because I'm lonely (although it can be sometimes), but because it's nicer to do with someone. And it would be nice if there was someone to celibrate my B-day with..So, anyway, feel free to come down over. ;)

Ja Ralf,
ik snap precies wat je bedoelt als je schrijft dat het leuker zou zijn om deze ervaringen met iemand te kunnen delen. Ik zou graag zelf komen (maar ik heb te weinig vakantiedagen), want, wat zie jij veel van deze mooie wereld.
En wat knap dat je daar in een auto rijdt. Zal wel echt wennen zijn (geweest) dat links rijden.
Ben ook blij voor je dat je weer internet hebt. Alhoewel ik zelf niet zo heel veel hiermee doe, snap ik best dat dit voor jou een belangrijk lijntje is naar oversea.
Moet je niet langzaam aan gaan werken daar of ben je zo rijk dat je dit allemaal zo kunt bekostigen?

Hoezo geen avonturen zoals hier in Afrika? Ik heb hier nog geen kangaroo gezien en ook geen (bijna) aanrijding met een vogel gehad.
Australie klinkt iig fantastisch. Je filmpje is ook allermints interessant ook al is het niet in Australie. Ik weet precies wat je bedoeld dat reizen af en toe ook eenzaam kan zijn. Zo vergaat het mij hier ook af en toe! Aan de andere kant: voordat je het weet ben je weer thuis en denk je met plezier aan deze tijd terug. Een hele fijne verjaardag en als we samen weer thuis zijn maken we samen pannenkoeken om je verjaardag nog eens dunnetjes over te doen :)

Voortbordurend op het skypegesprek van eerder deze dag, weet je wat ik je gezegd heb.
En zoals gezegd, misschien vind je na Nathalie een nieuwe reisgenoot, tenminste als je dan inmiddels niet een baantje hebt.

Hey Buurtje!!
echt beter dat je nu een auto hebt! scheelt wel, kun je gewoon overal heen waar je wilt en hoef je niet perse alle toeristische dingen te doen enzo! nadeel is idd wel dat je wat meer op jezelf aangewezen bent... had je maar moeten wachten tot ik terug was uit france, dan had ik nog mee kunnen gaan haha ;)
ja en helaas geen (geplet) chocolade ei dit jaar, misschien volgend jaar weer!
weet je: ik ben aangenomen als assistent manager en heb nu dus een echt echte baan, vet eng!!! :S dus reizen zal er voorlopig voor mij niet meer in zitten helaas... dus geniet er van zou ik zeggen!!!!!

Lekker bezig zeg. Wordt een mooie reis zo. Nog van harte gefeliciteerd trouwens. Ik zat een weekje in Egypte, dus had mn agenda thuis gelaten en mn mobiel zo'n beetje genegeerd, dus excuses voor de late felicitaties... :P
Heb mn Padi Open Water gehaald.. jeeh! :) Hoest verder met je? Mis je ons landje al een beetje? Net dus zelf weer terug en van 40C naar 10C oid is toch wel een beetje een shock hoor. Maar goed, ga nu lekker slapen. Morgen weer de hele dag aan t werk.
