Morning,
Like u guys will wake up in 1 or 2 hours, I also just woke up. Left Sydney yesterday evening, by bus to Melbourne. Not the most confy busses here, South America was way better. No space for your legs, none for your luggage and no tele or food served..grey hound sucks! But they got me to Melbourne, where I spent about 2,5 hrs walking around looking for my hostel. With about 30kg of luggage... so had my exersize for today. And that's why, when I could check in at 1, I went straight back to bed. :)
The fact that I'm using a bus, means I sold my car. Didn't take too long, about 3 days. But I did it away for an under market price, so that's prob why... So now u're prob wondering, sold my car, done my travels...why Melbourne!?! Well, fact is, I've fallen in love. Not with the bloody country, but with a nice Ozzie girl from Mel, so I'm prob gonna stay here.....haha, no just kidding! :P Gonna stay a couple more months tho, to work. Same area and same damn almonds as last year, but the pay is good. :) So, Mel is just a stop to catch up with Jack (Ozzie, met in South Am), Coral (English, met in Perth) and Lisa (Ozzie, met in Perth). Then I'll go to Robinvale/Mildura.
Last couple of days in Sydney where like last year, not a lot to do and some evenings drinking. Met a really cool Canadian tho: Mel. so spent a lot of time playing cards and dice with her, cooking together and she even learned me (read: tried to) play the gitar. :D Might meet her later this year to catch up.. we'll see.
Plan for now is:
- Working for couple of months. Have 2 left on my visa, but they can prob extent it;
- Do Uluru at the end and maybe Fraser again (for 3 days this time) or the Overland Track in Taz;
- Couple of weeks Asia, ev with Christina (Spanish girl from Perth);
- Coming home, finding apt, job and get a real life. :P
