Hey Everyone!
It's about 1PM here in Cairns and I'm laying on bed since it's raining outside..again..:(
First of all: Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you had a lot of fun yesterday evening! I myself went on another pub crawl, just like with X-mas. But this one was not with a dubbel decker bus, but just on foot. Better I'd say, cause that meant there was drinks included. :) Dresscode was beach theme, so I actually went in my swimming trousers, snorkle and flippers! Fun and lot's of peeps who wanna make a picture with ya. And also, won a price for my costume: going horse riding. Hopefully it won't hurt like it did in South Amerika with my hernia and please please please, no rain. :P
I celibrated last night with Janine (German) and Miriam (Swedish), although Miriam was last half the evening. At midnight we watched the fire works at the lagoon and I went to bed at one. Night before I hadn't slept, so was wacked. :S
Other things I did in Cairns...not so much. Basicly just waiting for the car check on the 4th, avoiding the rain and playing monopoly or other games. And of course going out quite a lot... Christmas was good fun in that one. Met a girl from Purmerent (ze kent je niet buur :P) and she and her roomies joined in with the fun. Met Martine on the dance floor, during a dancing game where we both graciously humiliated ourselves. :P But next game, posing sex positions, we almost won...
For the rest, had 3 X-mas meals: one with Janine on the 25th, one BBQ with Martine after that on the 25th and a meal with Martine on the 26th. And me, Miriam and Janine had a nice breakfast somewhere. :)
Plan for the coming days is hopefully horseriding on monday, maybe tomorrow going to some waterfalls with the French couple that joins me and Janine to Brisbane and then leaving on tuesday if the roads are open.
But for now, breakfast!
