Just a short update, since the internet is not that good. I left Perth last sunday (21st) and we've done quiet a bit of traveling since then. We visited a lot of places on the coast, Lancelin (sand boarding), Coral Bay (snorkeling with Manta's), Exmouth (Cape Range NP), Shark Bay (dolphin feeding) and more. All in all pretty good I'd say, especially the snorkeling trip in Coral Bay I really enjoyed. :D
Plan was to go to Karajini NP after that, but saturday things went wrong. Just an hour before reaching our sleeping place, I hit a cow while driving. And I can tell u, that does quiet a bit of damage. :S Need a new door, bullbar, some new plates and my emergency radio antenna is gone. Also something wrong with the allignment of the car, so we're pretty much stranded now in Karratha. Not much to do here. Went around this morning to check out the mechanics and garages. Not much luck, will take till next year and cost a lot of money since insurrance doesn't cover. So, seems that this road trip ended earlier than I hoped. :S But have to see tomorrow what the quote will be. Plan prob gonna be to have a service check and repair the allignment problem and then drive on till Broome or Cairns. Better chance there of quicker/cheaper fixing the problem or selling the car/my stuff.
Hopefully the others still stay with me till Broome, that way we can have nice little camping trip to the Kimberly's NP as a closure. :) Would be nice.
Well, that's about it. Hille is waiting for me to help with the tent, prob gonna storm tonight. :S See ya guys! Miss you a lot and maybe see ya soon!!

Ja Ralf, je kunt in Australië van alles tegenkomen, maar een koe....
Ik besef dat het een behoorlijke klap is geweest. Ik heb destijds in Australië genoeg kadavers van kangaroos langs de weg zien liggen en afgaande op hoe die beesten eruit zagen, kon ik wel nagaan hoe hard die klap geweest moest zijn.
Maar zit niet bij de pakken neer. Doe wat je denkt dat je moet doen.
Laten we hopen dat je weer snel mobiel bent en dan maar weer verder. Geniet van alles wat je tegenkomt.
